40th Anniversary 2011

Believe it or not, the annual fireworks display in Christchurch Park, Ipswich has been planned and organised by the 11th Ipswich Scout Group since 1972. From the first display costing £100 to displays costing up to £40,000 and drawing audiences of up to 32,000 people, we certainly have a lot to celebrate…and you can join in too!

“Help us to celebrate this great achievement by becoming the
‘Explosive’ 40th celebration headline sponsor!”

Our event is the highlight of the year for thousands of people in Ipswich’s outdoor event calendar. It’s a superb opportunity to interact with our customers and existing media sponsors to raise your business profile or boost your staff benefits scheme.

We have a range of opportunities and packages for potential sponsors.  Take up our special invitation to this year’s display on 6th November 2010 and get to know us and see the event in its full glory before deciding how you wish to support this fantastic event in 2011.

The display has become the premier musical display in East Anglia after a number of years of continued successes, with tributes to the musical greats ‘Michael Jackson’ and ‘Queen’ and with winning themes including ‘Adventure into Space’ and ‘James Bond’.

The event has provided finance for Scouting; providing everyday adventures for many thousands of young people in Ipswich. Funds support camping trips, visits abroad, buildings, transport and equipment for scouting activities.
