Thriller Fireworks at Christchurch Park Ipswich

Volunteers from the 11th Ipswich Scout Group announce their 38th Annual Firework Display which will take place in Christchurch Park Ipswich on Saturday 7th November.

The organisers are planning an exciting ‘Thriller Firework display’ accompanied by the legendary music of Michael Jackson including everyone favourite classic songs.
The newly restored Christchurch Park in Ipswich is the ideal setting for the very best in firework displays. The events organisers hope that you will enjoy another of East Anglia’s most exciting displays.


 
 
 

The musical fireworks costing £28,000 alone are designed and fired by the Shell Shock firework Company from Bramfield here in Suffolk. Shell Shock are renowned for their exciting and lively displays for clients all around the world.

Shell Shock have provided stunning performances for a number of celebrity weddings - including David Beckham’s in Ireland and John Terry’s at Blenheim Palace -  and has led the market for years in celebrating sporting achievements, firing pyrotechnic and special effects for the FA, UEFA, Carling, Heineken, Guinness and Powergen Cup Finals at venues throughout the UK and Europe. 

The family friendly event will also include music, competitions and fun and laughter from BBC Radio Suffolk, Heart and Town 102. A Children’s funfair and a glorious array of food from hot dogs to Thai and Fish & chips to crepes are available.

Tickets go on sale on from 12th October with a whopping 33% discount if you purchase tickets before the BIG day.

GATES OPEN - Gates open at 6.00pm, Display starts at 8.00pm

BBC Radio Suffolk have launched their 'Don't be a Tosser' litter campaign asking people attending the display not to drop litter on the park. This will help with the early morning clear up in time for the Remembrance day service the next day. Organisers will provide additional bins at the exits to the park and will be grateful for your kind help.
